About Maggie Ogletree

Maggie is a dynamic and dedicated attorney with a passion and commitment to advocating on behalf of clients. She brings a fresh perspective and tireless work ethic to every case she handles. Maggie believes in the importance of making sure everyone’s voice is heard and respected, leaving no stone unturned in each stage of a case.

Born and raised in Alabama, Maggie is thankful for the opportunity to give back and serve the people and businesses of this State. Maggie attended Lipscomb University for her Bachelor of Science in Philosophy and Minor in Biology. She then attended the University of Mississippi School of Law, receiving her Juris Doctor with academic honors. While at Ole Miss Law, Maggie was a member of the Law Association for Women, the Public Interest Law Foundation, and the Interprofessional Education Board.  She served as the Outreach Chair for the Public Interest Law Foundation and the Mock Trial Chair for the Interprofessional Education Board. Maggie was also a student attorney for the Ole Miss Law Housing Clinic and Eviction Prevention Clinic, advocating for housing opportunities and property rights for low-income residents of Mississippi. Through these opportunities, Maggie gained experience in leadership and sharpened her skills for creative problem solving.

Believing in the importance of community involvement on a local and national level, Maggie serves as a member of the Birmingham Bar, Alabama State Bar, and the Defense Research Institute. For the Defense Research Institute’s Women in the Law committee, Maggie serves as a Young Lawyer Liaison, where she empowers and builds community with women in the legal field nationwide.

While still gaining experience in multiples areas of civil defense, Maggie primarily sharpens her skills in premises liability and medical malpractice.
